A Midsummer Night’s Dream

by William Shakespeare

Directed by Drina Durazo

“These are the forgeries of jealousy…”

Hermia and Lysander love each other. Helena loves Demetrius. Demetrius wants Hermia. Hermia’s father wants Demetrius as a son in law.

An amateur dramatics society wants to rehearse their play for the upcoming nuptials of Duke Theseus in private.

All parties flee to the woods, and find themselves caught in the crossfire as warring gods Titania and Oberon find their marriage on the rocks.

Thus begins one hell of a Midsummer Night…

Shakespeare’s most famous comedy takes to the stage in a wildly inventive production playing in rep with Antony and Cleopatra in January and February, 2027.
